This homeowner required a complete project involving stone paving, deck construction and landscape architecture. We worked on the design aiming to meet their needs. We completed the stone paving around the house to create a pathway from front to back. A raised deck (balcony) allows for a full view of the backyard and provides enough space for a patio furniture set and accompanying shade. The stonework and landscaping completed at the front of this home provides an aesthetically pleasing view to both visitors and the homeowners.

The owners of this property contacted us to find a renovation solution for their old deck (balcony). We worked hand in hand with them on creating a construction plan for the deck and accompanying stairs which fulfilled the client’s needs and expectations, all while meeting the city’s standards and regulations.
Our involvement included the demolishing of the old dock, the construction of a strong and secure base, the formwork, concrete pouring and finishing details. The concrete deck (balcony) gives the benefits of more durability and longevity. However, due to its greater weight than other types of materials, it requires a stronger base than other types of balconies. We worked with much attention to the weight specs of this deck. The end result is refined and offers a safe installation to be used by the homeowners and visitors for many years to come.
